PFWM has a five-member volunteer board of trustees. They are professionals in community development, business, education, social work, livelihood, child protection, HIV/AIDS, and project management.

The board makes policy and is the custodian of funds and equipment. The director reports to the board and runs the organisation day to day. All staff are responsible to the director.

Communities and beneficiaries are involved in every stage of the project cycle. Budget estimates are shared with them. Annual returns go to the NGO Coordination Board.
